Gaining their name from their unmistakable stench, comparable to that of a pig sty, Stywings are insectoid scavengers of the land, being drawn to sewers, cesspits, waste piles and the like in order in an attempt to satisfy the primal urge to feed. Stywings do not form societies, but will form small hunting groups, but will only feast and not gather. Female Stywing lay a half dozen eggs, after a brief mating period, laying them in discarded caresses to feed on their own when maggots hatch. The carapace of a Stywing is revolting to say the least, festering with all sorts of diseases picked up from being exposed to rot, illness they themselves are immune to, acting as carriers that spread plague to whatever they touch.
